GOP Now With Big Lead in CO Senate Race
Last week a series of polls came out showing GOP momentum all across the board in the quest to take over the US Senate.
Yesterday, I noted a flurry of stories that the Democrats still had a good chance to keep control of the Senate because many of the polls are close, especially in states like Colorado where the Democrats have had some ongoing success.
Now this morning Quinnipiac has released a poll of likely voters that has Republican Cory Gardner leading incumbent Democrat Mark Udall by 8 points, 48-40.
It’s hard to see how Democrats retain control of the Senate if they are losing a moderate state like Colorado by 8 points.
